Egypt's motorcycle market recorded a strong performance in June, with a total of 43,461 brand-new motorcycles licensed during the month, according to the latest official vehicle licensing figures. The result represents a 41.94% increase compared with May, when 30,623 new motorcycles were licensed, highlighting a significant rise in motorcycle registrations and new vehicle licensing activity during June.

June Motorcycle Registrations by Model Year

The licensing breakdown shows that 2026 model-year motorcycles accounted for the largest share of new registrations in June, reaching 33,566 units. The figures also included 8,254 motorcycles from the 2025 model year, 1,053 units from the 2024 model year, and 587 motorcycles from the 2023 model year. In addition, the report recorded the licensing of just one 2027 model-year motorcycle. These figures reflect the official distribution of new motorcycle registrations by model year without any changes to the reported data.

Comparison Between June and May Performance

Looking at the month-to-month performance, May recorded a total of 30,623 newly licensed motorcycles. That figure represented a 12.83% decline compared with April. June, however, saw registrations climb to 43,461 new motorcycles, marking a 41.94% increase over May and indicating a clear improvement in motorcycle licensing activity during the latest reporting period.

The model-year distribution for May included 23,776 motorcycles from the 2026 model year, 5,741 units from the 2025 model year, 726 motorcycles from the 2024 model year, and 379 motorcycles from the 2023 model year, in addition to one motorcycle from the 2027 model year. Together, these statistics provide a direct comparison between May and June while preserving every reported figure and specification exactly as released.
