Egypt Public Prosecution Car Auctions in July 2025
The General Authority for Government Services has announced a series of public auctions for selling cars, motorcycles, and tuk-tuks belonging to the Public Prosecution across several Egyptian governorates in July 2025. The auctions include a large number of diverse lots, spanning multiple days in the Red Sea and Alexandria governorates, with clear participation requirements and a detailed tender brochure.
Red Sea Auctions Kick Off in Mid-July
The first auction in the Red Sea Governorate will take place on July 20, featuring 120 lots of cars and motorcycles. These are distributed as follows: one lot from the Ghurdaqa Traffic Department, 59 lots from the Ghurdaqa Traffic Garage, and 60 lots from the Marsa Alam Police Station garage. The auctions continue on July 21 and 22 in the same governorate, with a public auction organized by the Ministry of Finance and the Public Prosecution for selling cars, motorcycles, and tuk-tuks from the police stations of Marsa Alam, Ghurdaqa First and Second, and Ras Ghareb.
On July 21, the Public Prosecution auction in Marsa Alam police station totals 145 lots. On July 22, multiple auctions will be held: Ghurdaqa First Station (2 lots), Ghurdaqa Second Station (3 lots), Ras Ghareb Station (3 lots), plus 40 lots from the Ras Ghareb garage, 23 lots from Ghurdaqa First Station, and 45 lots from Ghurdaqa Second Station, reaching a total of 116 lots on that day alone.
Alexandria Auctions on July 26
On July 26, a new auction for selling cars, motorcycles, and tuk-tuks from the Public Prosecution in Alexandria Governorate will take place, comprising 129 lots distributed across various police stations. These include: Al-Gomrok Station Police Custody (1 lot), Al-Dekheila Station (2 lots), Second Montazah Station (14 lots), First Raml Station (1 lot), First Amreya Station (70 lots), First Montazah Station (16 lots), Borg El Arab Station (3 lots), Second Raml Station (1 lot), Second Amreya Station (2 lots), Second Montazah Station Police Land and Montazah Prosecution (10 lots), Mina El Basal Station (2 lots), First Montazah Police Center (1 lot), Al-Atarin Police Center (1 lot), Al-Manshiya Station (1 lot), Abu Hummus Police Center in Beheira (2 lots), and Bila Prosecution Station (2 lots).
Participation Conditions
The authority has set clear conditions for interested participants: the tender brochure costs 400 Egyptian pounds and is available at the General Authority for Government Services in the Ministry of Finance towers, Tower 2, on Ramses Extension Street next to the Railway Club in Nasr City, Cairo. The auction entry deposit is 50,000 Egyptian pounds, fully refundable if no purchase is made. The auction session will be held at the Giza Sports Club on Al-Bahr Al-Azam Street under the Abbas Bridge.
