Egypt Bus Sales Surge 105.7% in June

Bus sales in Egypt jumped 105.7% during June, reaching 2,038 vehicles compared to just 991 units in the same month last year. The figures come from the monthly report issued by the Automotive Market Information Council (AMIC), signaling a strong rebound in the commercial transport segment.

King Long Leads the Pack

King Long topped the list of best-selling bus brands in Egypt during June, managing to sell 522 vehicles. That is a commanding lead in a market where competition is getting fiercer by the month.

Toyota secured the second spot with 488 units sold — a gap of just 34 buses. The margin is razor-thin.

Chasing the Leaders

Golden Dragon followed in third place with 409 units, while Mitsubishi took fourth with approximately 120 vehicles. The top three clearly dominate the market landscape.

Shineray claimed the fifth position with 114 buses, followed by Suzuki in sixth with 106 units. Chevrolet rounded out the top seven, selling 101 buses during the month.

Demand for public transport vehicles in Egypt is clearly accelerating, and the numbers prove it. The market is moving fast.
