Egypt's Auto Industry Takes a Leap: Nissan Magnite Achieves 55% Local Content

The local content ratio in Egypt's newest locally-made car has surpassed all expectations. Media figure Hisham El-Ziny revealed that the Nissan Magnite, produced at the Nissan Egypt plant in 6th of October City, achieved a local content ratio of 55% — the highest ever recorded by the local industry in recent times.

During his program "Arabaity" on Radio Masr, El-Ziny explained that this percentage confirms the existence of a strong local industrial base, and that Egyptian car plants possess significant production and export capabilities.
