Diverse Lineup of Cars at Egyptian Government Services Authority Auction in Port Said and Damietta
The Government Services Authority in Egypt has announced the launch of a new auction for used cars, featuring a distinctive selection of vehicles from the Port Said and Damietta customs. The auction is scheduled to kick off on June 22, offering a great opportunity for car enthusiasts to acquire vehicles through government auctions.
Lineup of Cars at the Auction
The list of cars offered in this auction includes a wide variety of models. It features 9 Hyundai Tucson 2016 models, along with Hyundai Tucson 2017 and 2018 models. The list also includes several Hyundai Avante models from 2016, 2015, 2014, 2012, and 2007.
For fans of Korean cars, the auction offers Kia Soul models from 2015, 2014, and 2011, as well as a 2021 Kia Sorento and a 2015 Kia K3. The lineup also includes 2015 and 2013 Mini Cooper models, a 2009 Chevrolet Aveo, and two 2014 Chevrolet Trax units.
Luxury and German car enthusiasts will find a Mercedes-Benz G500 2021, a Mercedes-Benz A180 2017, two Mercedes-Benz C180 2015 models, and a Mercedes-Benz C180 2014. The list is rounded out by a 2018 Toyota Yaris and a 2013 Skoda Octavia.
Terms for Obtaining the Condition Book
The supervisory committee clarified that the licensing status of the cars varies; some are eligible for licensing while others are not, as detailed for each lot in the condition book. Participating in the auction requires purchasing the condition book for 400 EGP, available at the headquarters of the Government Services Authority in the Ministry of Finance Towers, Ramsis Street Extension, Tower 2. Please note that the cost of the condition book is non-refundable if no vehicles are won.
Deposit and Payment Terms
The Authority has set a deposit of 50,000 EGP to enter the auction. Additionally, bidders must pay 30% of the winning lot's value immediately upon winning, with the remaining balance due within a maximum of 15 days from the auction date.
Regarding the required documents, the supervisory committee stated that corporate or entity participants must provide a tax card or commercial register. Individual participants only need to present a valid national ID card.
