Cupra Formentor 2026 Arrives in Egypt with Prices Starting Over 2 Million EGP

Kian Egypt, the official local distributor of the Spanish performance brand Cupra, has launched the 2026 Cupra Formentor in Egypt during May. The sporty crossover is available in two trim levels, offering a refreshed design and upgraded technology.

The new Cupra Formentor facelift is officially priced from 2,099,000 Egyptian pounds, positioning it in the premium sporty SUV segment.

Engine and Performance

Powering the Formentor is a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine producing 150 horsepower and 250 Nm of torque. It is mated to a 7-speed DSG automatic transmission, delivering responsive and engaging driving dynamics.

Exterior Design Updates

The facelifted model features distinct exterior revisions, most notably a new front fascia with triple-element LED headlights in a triangular design. At the rear, full LED taillights with a 3D effect are connected by a full-width light bar, now incorporating the illuminated Cupra emblem for the first time. The bumpers and sporty alloy wheels have also been redesigned.

Interior and Technology

Inside, the cabin receives a major technology upgrade, headlined by a new 12.9-inch central touchscreen compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The climate control and volume controls are now backlit for improved usability. The Formentor also features a premium 12-speaker Sennheiser sound system, while the sport seats are upholstered in microfiber made from up to 73% recycled materials.

Safety Systems

The Cupra Formentor comes equipped with a comprehensive safety suite, including seven airbags, ABS, EBD, ESC, tire pressure monitoring, front and rear parking sensors, and a rearview camera with self-parking support.
