Optra Drives the Monthly Results

The performance was fueled by robust demand for the Optra model, which alone accounted for 670 registered cars during the month. That figure not only boosted the brand's overall results but also secured its top spot in the monthly registration rankings.

According to the traffic registration report data, Chevrolet outperformed all other automakers in the Egyptian market during July. The headline number? 3,156 registered vehicles, with 670 carrying the Optra nameplate specifically.

Mansour Automotive: A Key Partner

Chevrolet's operations in Egypt are managed through Mansour Automotive Group, the brand's exclusive distributor in the local market. The group, established in 1975, was appointed the same year as an official agent for General Motors before the partnership expanded to include exclusive distribution rights for several of its brands and products.

The group's activities extended beyond Egypt to Iraq and several African countries, positioning it as one of the largest distributors of General Motors products outside China. This regional reach strengthens the group's ability to support Chevrolet pricing and model availability in the market.
