Chevrolet Tops Egypt's Most-Registered Truck Brands in July
Numbers are clear. Chevrolet continued its dominance at the top of the most-registered truck brands list in Egypt during July, leaving competitors far behind. Data from the Egyptian Motor Third-Party Liability Insurance Pool revealed the ranking of brands in this vital segment, which keeps seeing steady demand for commercial vehicles across various transport and service activities.
Chevrolet Leads the Pack
Chevrolet secured the first position on the list of the most-registered trucks in July, recording about 2,425 vehicles, further cementing its position in the commercial transport market. The gap is massive compared to rivals, reflecting a wide customer base that relies on the American brand's models for transport purposes.
Meanwhile, Mitsubishi came in second place on the list of the most-registered truck brands, with 132 vehicles during the month. Toyota took third place with a total of 130 vehicles registered during the same period, a very narrow margin behind the runner-up.
Rest of the Ranking
In fourth place came Mercedes with 86 licensed trucks, while Nissan ranked fifth with 55 vehicles during July. The order reflects a clear competition between European and Japanese brands for advanced positions in this segment, but Chevrolet remains the strongest player by far.
These figures provide a significant indicator of the movement in Egypt's commercial vehicle market and how shares are distributed among different brands. Demand for trucks appears to focus mainly on brands that offer extensive service networks and suitable operating costs, which explains Chevrolet's overwhelming lead.
