Chevrolet Tops Egypt Car Sales in April with 20% Market Share

Chevrolet has secured the top spot in Egypt's automotive market across all vehicle segments for April, capturing a 20% market share with a total of 3,100 vehicles sold, according to the latest report from the Egyptian Automotive Market Information Council (AMIC).

Nissan ranked second with an 11% market share, recording sales of 1,761 units, followed closely by Chery in third place with an 11% share and 1,720 vehicles sold.

MG claimed the fourth position with an 8% market share, selling 1,163 units, while Toyota came in fifth with a 7% share and 1,146 vehicles. Changan secured sixth place with a 6% share, totaling 849 units.

Hyundai ranked seventh with a 5% market share and 725 cars sold, followed by Renault in eighth place with a 4% share and 627 vehicles. Suzuki took ninth with a 3% share, selling 406 units.

Kia rounded out the top ten most-sold automotive brands in Egypt for April, holding a 2% market share with 330 vehicles sold.
