Locally Assembled Changan CS55 Plus Captures 62% of Brand Sales in Egypt Over 4 Months
Data from the Automotive Market Information Council (AMIC) revealed that the locally assembled CS55 Plus topped the sales list of Changan models in the Egyptian market during the first four months of this year. The model recorded 1,590 units sold, capturing approximately 62% of the brand's total sales of 2,566 vehicles during that period, according to official data from AMIC.
Changan Sales Breakdown in Egypt
The CS75 ranked second with 257 units, achieving a market share of 10.0% of Changan sales. It was followed by the EADO in third place with 247 units, holding 9.6% of the Chinese brand's total sales from January to April of this year.
Other Model Rankings
The EADO Plus ranked fourth with 170 units sold, representing 6.6% of the brand's total sales. The UNI-V came in fifth place with 143 units, holding a 5.6% market share. The imported version of the CS55 Plus ranked sixth with 103 units, capturing 4.0% of sales.
The CS35 Plus occupied seventh place with 30 units and a 1.2% share, while the UNI-T ranked eighth with 25 units, holding a 1.0% share. The CS15 came at the bottom of Changan's sales list during the first four months of this year, with only one unit sold, representing approximately 0.04% of the brand's total sales in the Egyptian market.
