Changan CS55 Plus Crowned Best-Selling SUV in Egypt for May

Changan CS55 Plus achieved a remarkable milestone in the Egyptian automotive market last May, securing the title of the best-selling sport utility vehicle (SUV) in the country. The locally manufactured model outperformed all competitors in the SUV segment.

Impressive Sales Figures

The Changan CS55 Plus recorded sales of 558 units during May alone, topping the list of the best-selling SUVs. The Changan brand itself climbed to seventh place among car companies in Egypt during the same period, after selling more than 4,500 vehicles over the past year.

Dimensions and Exterior Design

The Changan CS55 Plus features well-balanced exterior dimensions suitable for daily use, with a length of 4,515 mm, a width of 1,865 mm, a height of 1,680 mm, and a wheelbase of 2,565 mm. The ground clearance stands at 171 mm, enhancing its capability on rough roads. It comes with a 55-liter fuel tank and a 475-liter cargo capacity in the rear.

Engine and Transmission

The Changan CS55 Plus is powered by a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine, producing 185 horsepower and a maximum torque of 300 Nm. The engine is paired with a 7-speed automatic transmission, delivering smooth driving dynamics and strong performance across various conditions.
