The Egyptian Government Services Authority has announced a public auction for a large number of used vehicles belonging to the General Prosecution Office in Cairo Governorate. The auction will be held at the Al-Sallab impound lot on the Autostrad Road, scheduled for August 2. The event features a diverse range of vehicles including passenger cars, microbuses, pickup trucks, vans, and motorcycles. Notably, most of the offered vehicles are untitled and cannot be driven on public roads without obtaining proper documentation.

Key Vehicles Featured in the Auction

According to the terms and specifications booklet, the auction includes several classic and rare models in the Egyptian market. Prominent entries include Hyundai Pony, Opel sedan, Peugeot 304 sedan, and Mitsubishi passenger car. The auction also features multiple units of Fiat 128, 132, Ritmo, Shahin, 125, 127, and 131 sedans, along with a Peugeot van and several old two-door Jeeps. The list extends to Volkswagen Beetles, Citroën hatchbacks, untitled Lada sedans, Regata sedans, and Datsun passenger cars. Additional offerings include SEAT sedans, Renault passenger cars, Mazda passenger cars, Fiat Polonez, Kia minibus, Nissan passenger car, Volvo 240, Dodge passenger car, Chinese pickup truck, Peugeot 505, Chevrolet passenger car, Mercedes passenger car, Suzuki pickup truck, and Hyundai Excel.

Auction Attendance Details and Conditions

The auction session will take place at the Giza Sports Club hall on Al-Bahr Al-Azam Street in Giza, starting at 12:00 PM. Participation requires a security deposit of EGP 50,000, with 30% of the vehicle's price payable immediately upon winning the bid, and the remaining balance due within 15 days. The terms and specifications booklet can be obtained from the Government Services Authority headquarters in the Ministry of Finance towers on Ramses Street extension (Tower 2). Importantly, the sale is conducted without any commission fees, making it an attractive opportunity for buyers looking to purchase vehicles for restoration or spare parts.
