The tour included visits to the ManDream BYD technology center in Sheikh Zayed, the company's center in Park Street, and the Nile Projects and Trade BYD technology center in Mall of Arabia. The executive also inspected two service centers on El-Moshir Axis and Abu Rawash, reviewing customer service quality and sales network performance firsthand.
The numbers are striking. BYD sales have exceeded 2,000 vehicles in that period, with over 2,500 customer test drives recorded, alongside the launch of 8 electric and hybrid models in the local market. These figures paint a clear picture of the soaring demand for new energy vehicles in Egypt.
Growth Plans Through 2027
This was certainly no ceremonial visit. The executive discussed with local distributor ManDream plans to expand showroom networks and service centers, strengthening the brand's presence in the Egyptian market. ManDream BYD recently received the Best Electric Vehicle Sales award in Egypt for 2025/2026 at the Egypt Car of the Year Awards. The recognition reflects the success the Chinese brand has achieved in a short period, positioning it strongly against competitors in the EV race.
