BYD ATTO 8 Launches in Egypt at EGP 2.8 Million with Over 1,000 km Driving Range
ManDream, the local distributor of BYD in Egypt, has introduced the new ATTO 8, a seven-seat family SUV, to the Egyptian market. The model is offered in a single trim level during May.
Dimensions and Interior Space
The BYD ATTO 8 features a practical family-oriented design with seating for seven passengers and a spacious cabin. Folding the rear seats expands cargo capacity to approximately 1,960 liters. The vehicle also offers a Bed Mode function that transforms the cabin into a comfortable relaxation area for long journeys, while its overall length exceeds 5 meters to enhance interior roominess.
Hybrid Powertrain and Performance
The ATTO 8 is powered by BYD's DM-i hybrid technology, combining a gasoline engine with an electric motor to deliver a total output of 275 horsepower and 315 Nm of torque. The SUV offers a driving range exceeding 1,000 kilometers, along with an electric-only range of around 100 kilometers, supporting fuel efficiency and everyday usability.
Technology and Convenience Features
The vehicle comes equipped with a 15.6-inch infotainment display and a digital instrument cluster, along with support for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Additional features include an integrated audio system, internet connectivity, three-zone climate control, power-adjustable seats, a panoramic roof, and a power tailgate.
Safety and Driver Assistance Systems
In terms of safety, the BYD ATTO 8 is fitted with a comprehensive package that includes seven airbags, Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), a 360-degree surround-view camera system, a high-strength body structure, and advanced suspension systems designed to balance ride comfort and stability across different road conditions.
Price in Egypt
The new BYD ATTO 8 is available in the Egyptian market at a price of EGP 2.8 million.
