After $120 Million Investment in Local Assembly: BAIC 2026 Prices in Egypt Revealed
In a strategic move to boost local automotive manufacturing, Alkan Holding Group has announced a new $120 million investment to establish a vehicle assembly plant in Egypt. The facility will operate in partnership with global brands, most notably Kia and BAIC, marking a significant step toward deepening the country's industrial base.
The project aims to produce tens of thousands of vehicles annually, with a clear roadmap for exporting to Arab and African markets in the coming years. This initiative aligns with Egypt's growing focus on local production and gradually increasing the percentage of locally sourced components.
