The General Authority for Government Services, affiliated with the Ministry of Finance, has announced a major public auction to sell dozens of used passenger cars from the abandoned and confiscated lots of Cairo Airport, Safaga, and Nuweiba customs. The auction is scheduled for Thursday, September 3, at 12:00 PM at the Al-Hadarat Sports Club hall on Salah Salem Street. The lineup includes global brands such as GMC, Porsche, BMW, and Chevrolet.
Cars Offered in the Auction
The auction features various makes and models, including Nissan, Cadillac, Hummer, Mercedes-Benz, Chrysler, Geely, Infiniti, Dodge, Suzuki, Toyota, Kia, Audi, Mitsubishi, Hyundai, Ford, Mazda, Jeep Grand Cherokee, Land Rover, and Range Rover. The supervising committee stated that all vehicles are in different conditions, and sales follow the terms in the conditions booklet.
Participation Requirements and Deposit
To enter the auction, participants must purchase the conditions booklet for EGP 400 from the authority's office in the Ministry of Finance towers on Ramses Street, Building 2. This fee is non-refundable. The required deposit is EGP 50,000, and winners must pay 30% of the lot value immediately, with the remaining balance due within 15 days.
