Government Auction Offers Used Private Cars from Alexandria Customs

The General Authority for Government Services is preparing to hold a massive public auction for a large number of used private passenger cars, with lots including abandoned, seized, and confiscated vehicles from the Alexandria and Dekheila customs. The auction session is scheduled for 12:00 PM on Saturday, August 31st, at the Sporting Club of Civilizations hall on Salah Salem Street, opposite Ein El-Sira traffic office in Cairo.

Featured Vehicles in the Auction Lineup

The list features a wide range of luxury and classic models. Among them are a Mercedes CLK 1998, a Mitsubishi Pajero 2002, a Land Rover HSE LR4 2010, and a Mercedes C350 from 2008.

Additional highlights include a Chrysler C300 2005, a Porsche Cayenne GTS 2008, a Lincoln Town Car 2003, and a Skoda Octavia 2010. The second batch lists a Chrysler C300 2006, a Mercedes R500 2007, a Chevrolet Camaro 2010, and a Porsche Boxster 2005.

Porsche Panamera 2010, Chrysler Stretch 2005, and Mercedes E350 2013 round out the impressive catalog. The variety spans luxury sedans, SUVs, and sports coupes, giving used-car seekers multiple options at competitive auction prices.

Participation Requirements and Deposit Value

Entering the auction requires purchasing the terms and conditions booklet for 400 EGP, available at the General Authority for Government Services headquarters in the Ministry of Finance towers, Ramses Street extension, Building No. 2. Vehicle inspection is open to registered bidders until auction day, and bringing a technician for a thorough check is permitted.

A mandatory deposit of 50,000 EGP must be paid before the auction begins. Vehicles are stored at Picasso yards in front of Gate 22, the Gezira Club yard, the Dekheila customs warehouse, and the Hassan Yassin storage facility.
