Participants had to pay 400 EGP for the terms booklet available from the General Authority for Government Services in the Ministry of Finance towers on Ramses Street. A 50,000 EGP entry deposit was mandatory for anyone serious about bidding on any lot.

The payment structure requires 30% of the winning amount immediately upon acceptance, with the remaining balance due within 15 days. These strict conditions likely discouraged potential buyers who would have needed time to inspect deeply or secure financing. Investors generally prefer movable goods with quick resale potential over customs-cleared vehicles needing extensive repairs.

Merchandise sales alone generated that 7.16 million EGP figure, a solid outcome for the merchandise portion. Customs authorities have not yet announced a date for the next auction round, but all eyes are on what happens to these rejected vehicles now.
