Al-Taawon Engine Oils Get New Prices in Egypt Starting Today

Al-Taawon Petroleum Company has released an updated price list for its engine oils in the Egyptian market, effective from Sunday morning. The new list covers petrol and diesel engine oils, along with hydraulic fluids and other lubricants.

Breaking Down the New Price Structure

Prices start at just 145 EGP for a one-liter can of Super Stan 50. That entry-level figure makes it one of the most affordable options available to budget-conscious drivers across the country.

The premium end of the spectrum tells a different story, with SEPHD gear oil hitting 35,910 EGP per 180 kg barrel. Diesel engine users will also need to budget carefully, as Fact GX 7000 is priced at 4,200 EGP per barrel.

Petrol engine owners get some relief at the lower end, with CPC SJ and CPC SF oils both listed at 185 EGP per liter. For those seeking higher-grade protection, CPC One Extra in the 4-liter container costs 1,850 EGP according to the official announcement.

Mid-Range Options and Official Implementation Date

The CPC Genix 8000 line sits comfortably in the middle of the price range, starting at 310 EGP for a single liter. This series is also available in five-liter containers, providing flexible purchasing choices for drivers of mid-sized vehicles.

Al-Taawon has confirmed that the revised price structure came into effect on August 23, 2026. The updated rates serve as a key reference point for individual car owners, service centers, and logistics companies that rely on consistent lubricant supplies.
