The Ministry of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities is pushing forward with one of the largest residential expansion projects in New October City. A total of 1,800 feddans of residential land in the North Airport area are being prepared, featuring a modern road network spanning 75 kilometers, along with water, sewage, and irrigation networks, ahead of land handover to beneficiaries.

Integrated Infrastructure for Urban Development

Engineer Randa El-Menshawy, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, emphasized the importance of accelerating infrastructure works on the project while adhering to set timelines. She stressed the need to ensure the area is fully ready and all necessary services are completed before land delivery, as part of the ministry's strategy to provide integrated communities for citizens and investors.

Details of Utility Networks and Roads

Engineer Mohamed Abdel-Maksoud, head of the New October City Development Authority, revealed that the project includes a road network spanning 75 kilometers, water networks extending 140 kilometers, sewage networks covering 100 kilometers, and irrigation networks stretching 45 kilometers. He added that this integrated infrastructure will support future urban expansions in the city and provide a solid foundation for the next phase.

Field Inspection and Technical Testing

The authority head conducted a field tour to monitor progress in the North Airport area, reviewing ongoing works and execution rates. He confirmed that implementation has reached advanced stages, with backfilling and leveling works for roads underway, alongside technical testing of utility networks to ensure operational readiness and efficiency according to the highest approved technical standards and specifications.
