The Egyptian automotive market witnessed a significant wave of model year updates during June, as multiple automakers transitioned their vehicles from 2026 to 2027 model years. A total of 31 cars underwent this refresh, spanning various brands and segments, reflecting the commitment of local distributors to keep pace with the latest production years without delay.

Jetour Leads with 7 Models at 2026 Price Levels

Al Qasrawy Group, the official distributor of Jetour in Egypt, was the most prominent player in this update cycle. The company introduced seven different models as 2027 editions while keeping prices identical to their 2026 counterparts, with only a single exception covered in a separate report. The lineup included the Jetour T2, Jetour T1, Jetour X90 Plus, Jetour Dashing, and Jetour X70, each offered in multiple trims.

Pricing Details for Jetour T2 and T1 2027 Models

For the Jetour T2, the Luxury trim was priced at EGP 1,900,000, while the Matt color variant came in at EGP 1,930,000. The plug-in hybrid version, the Jetour T2 i-DM, was listed at EGP 2,150,000, all unchanged from last year. As for the Jetour T1, the Luxury trim was set at EGP 1,730,000, and the Matt color variant at EGP 1,760,000.

Jetour X90 Plus, Dashing, and X70 2027 Prices

Prices for the remaining models also remained frozen. The Jetour X90 Plus Luxury was offered at EGP 1,560,000. The Jetour Dashing came in two trims: Luxury 1.5L at EGP 1,330,000 and Luxury 1.6L at EGP 1,480,000. Rounding out the list, the Jetour X70 was available in Comfort trim at EGP 1,095,000 and Luxury trim at EGP 1,240,000.

Market Implications of Early Model-Year Updates

This trend of early model-year transitions by Egyptian distributors, particularly at the start of the second half of the year, demonstrates a strong commitment to offering the latest 2027 models to customers without delay. By keeping prices unchanged in most cases, brands aim to stimulate demand and enhance their competitiveness. For consumers, this means gaining a full model year advantage without any additional cost, a clear win in today's price-sensitive market.
