Stellantis Ships 1.6 Million Vehicles Globally in Q2 2026, Up 10%

Stellantis Group announced notable growth in its global shipments during the second quarter of 2026, with total shipments reaching approximately 1.6 million vehicles, marking a 10% increase compared to the same period last year. Consolidated shipments from April to June 2026 totaled 1.597 million vehicles, up from 1.447 million vehicles in Q2 2025, a difference of 150,000 units.

North America Leads Growth with Strong Performance

North America recorded the highest growth rate among Stellantis markets, with shipments rising to 445,000 vehicles compared to 323,000 vehicles in the same period last year, a 38% increase. This strong performance is attributed to the launch of several new models and updates to its lineup, including the Ram 1500 HEMI V8, Ram 1500 TRX SRT, Jeep Grand Wagoneer, and Jeep Grand Cherokee, in addition to the updated Chrysler Pacifica, alongside increased production of the new Jeep Cherokee and Dodge Charger SIXPACK.

Europe Continues Growth Driven by New Models

In enlarged Europe, shipments rose to 762,000 vehicles from 723,000 vehicles in Q2 2025, registering 5% growth. This performance was fueled by strong demand for new models, especially the Smart Car platform vehicles, including the Citroën C3, Citroën C3 Aircross, Opel/Vauxhall Frontera, and Fiat Grande Panda, which added around 41,000 vehicles to total shipments. The new Jeep Compass also contributed to the results, while Leapmotor shipments rose to 33,000 vehicles in the second quarter, driven by demand for the T03 and B10 models.

Decline in Middle East and Africa, Modest Drop in South America

The Middle East and Africa region saw a 3% decline, with shipments reaching 121,000 vehicles compared to 125,000 vehicles in the same period last year. Stellantis attributed this drop to regional conditions, despite increased production in Algeria thanks to the Fiat Doblo and improved performance in Morocco, while Turkey and GCC countries experienced shipment declines. In contrast, South America shipments fell to 253,000 vehicles from 260,000 vehicles, a modest 3% decrease. Stellantis continues to expand its global footprint with a focus on innovation across its lineup to support future growth.
