Soueast, the Chinese automotive brand exclusively distributed in Egypt by Man East, has achieved a significant milestone by surpassing 10,000 vehicle sales in its first year of operation. Mahmoud Gamiel, CEO of Man East, confirmed that this accomplishment reflects the success of an ambitious expansion strategy built on a robust distribution network and after-sales services, allowing the brand to secure a strong foothold in Egypt's passenger car market.

Expanding Dealer Network and Service Centers

Gamiel emphasized that reaching this sales figure required building a comprehensive infrastructure. Within just 11 months, the company established 23 independent showrooms and 8 specialized service centers across various governorates. This rapid expansion directly contributed to building customer trust and boosting sales growth, propelling the brand to the seventh position among the best-selling automotive brands in Egypt—a remarkable achievement in a short period.

Local Assembly at the Mansour Factory

Gamiel revealed that Soueast is moving toward local assembly in Egypt, as the brand will be among those assembled at the Mansour family factory. The S06 model will be the first vehicle to be locally produced, with production targeted to begin in the last quarter of 2027. This step is part of a broader strategy to strengthen the brand's industrial presence in the Egyptian market.

New Models and Hybrid Technology Plans

Beyond local assembly, the brand's future growth strategy includes expanding its model lineup. Gamiel noted that the manufacturer has outlined a plan to introduce six new Soueast models over the next three years. The first step in this plan will be the launch of a new model equipped with the latest DM smart hybrid powertrain technology, reflecting the company's commitment to offering advanced mobility solutions that combine modern technology with operational efficiency.

Gamiel concluded by affirming that the brand's future in Egypt has already begun, supported by local assembly plans, product expansion, and an enhanced service network. These efforts are expected to strengthen Soueast's competitiveness and help it achieve a leading position in Egypt's passenger car market. He added that the company views its first-year achievements not merely as numbers, but as a greater responsibility toward the customers who have placed their trust in the brand since its launch.
