Ahead of Local Assembly Launch: A Closer Look at ROX Models in Egypt

All eyes are on Sunday's official announcement of the partnership agreement between Ez Elarab El Sewedy Investments (ESI) and Chinese brand ROX Motor. The deal will establish a new joint venture named "ROX ESI Egypt," marking the beginning of a new phase for the Chinese brand in the local market through local assembly.

This development comes amid a surge in automotive sector investments in Egypt, with many global companies shifting toward local manufacturing and assembly. As a result, this upcoming announcement is considered one of the most anticipated events in the Egyptian car market.

ROX 01: The Flagship SUV

The ROX 01 is the first model from the Chinese brand to be officially launched in Egypt. It belongs to the large SUV segment and is equipped with modern technologies and advanced drivetrain systems. The 2026 model is priced starting from EGP 3,500,000 for the Family trim, while the Aviation trim is priced at EGP 3,585,000.

ROX Adamas: Versatile Interior Options

ROX also offers the Adamas model, available with two interior configurations: a 7-seater and a 6-seater variant. The official starting price for the 7-seater version is EGP 3.85 million, while the 6-seater version reaches EGP 3.95 million.

As the official announcement of the partnership details draws near, the Egyptian market eagerly anticipates a strong entry for the ROX brand, further intensifying competition in the local SUV segment.
