Porsche Unveils Three Unique 911 Models Inspired by Toy Story Characters

In one of the most creative and daring collaborations in the automotive world this year, Porsche has teamed up with Pixar to unveil three extraordinary versions of its iconic 911, inspired by the most beloved characters from the Toy Story franchise: Woody, Buzz Lightyear, and Jessie. The project went far beyond simple color changes or logo additions, as it was executed by the Sonderwunsch department, which specializes in highly bespoke requests. Porsche designers worked closely with the Pixar team, including original Buzz Lightyear designer Bob Pauley, to transform these beloved characters into real, drivable cars.

The Buzz Lightyear Edition: Porsche's Wildest 911 Yet

Porsche chose the 911 GT3 RS to embody the Buzz Lightyear character, a logical choice given the futuristic and space-themed nature of the figure. The car features a paint scheme inspired by Buzz's iconic suit in white, green, and purple, complemented by unique wheels, Space Ranger badging, and Lightyear lettering on the sides. Inside, the famous Buzz phrase To Infinity and Beyond is illuminated, while the custom color scheme extends to the seatbelts, seats, and interior stitching, making the car look as if it has stepped directly out of the film.

Jessie Transforms into an Elegant 911 Targa

The character of Jessie, the cowgirl doll, was brought to life in a 911 Targa 4 GTS. Designers captured the spirit of the beloved cowgirl with a new special white paint called Jessie White Metallic, accented with red, blue, and gold details. The red Targa roof is inspired by Jessie's signature hat. Inside, the cabin features denim-like materials reminiscent of Jessie's outfit, cow-print floor mats, and an illuminated YEE HAW! phrase that appears when the doors are opened.

Woody Gets the Most Classic Treatment

The most iconic character in the Toy Story universe received a special edition based on the 911 Carrera T. Designers drew inspiration from Woody's classic attire, featuring an exterior color that mimics faded denim fabric, complemented by gold and red accents. The interior boasts brown leather with a vintage feel, a first for this type of project. Embroidery inspired by Woody's outfit was added, along with the illuminated phrase Ride Like the Wind! on the door sills.

More Than Just Display Cars

According to specialized reports, these three vehicles are not merely experimental prototypes or static showpieces. They are fully functional, drivable cars, reflecting Porsche's commitment to turning fantasy into tangible reality within the automotive world.
