OMODA and JAECOO Global Sales Approach 380,000 Vehicles in First Half of 2026
Chinese automotive brands OMODA and JAECOO continue to demonstrate robust global sales growth this year, with total sales approaching 380,000 units during the first half of 2026. This remarkable performance is driven by surging demand for electric and hybrid vehicles across multiple markets worldwide.
Exceeding 75,000 Monthly Sales
Company data shows that global sales reached 75,102 vehicles in June, marking a year-on-year increase of 178%. This represents the second consecutive month the brand has surpassed the 75,000-unit threshold, reflecting sustained positive momentum since the start of the year.
Consistent Monthly Growth
The total sales for both brands worldwide in the first half of 2026 climbed to 379,110 vehicles. The brands recorded a growth rate of 113% in January, surpassed 60,000 vehicles in March, approached 70,000 units in April, and then broke the 75,000 barrier in both May and June, achieving triple-digit year-on-year growth rates throughout this period.
Dominance of Electrified Vehicles
New Energy Vehicle sales saw remarkable growth in June, reaching 56,188 vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 310%. NEVs accounted for over 70% of the brand's total monthly sales, reflecting the global expansion of electric and hybrid model offerings tailored to diverse market demands.
Jaecoo 5 and Jaecoo 7 Lead the Pack
The Jaecoo 5 and Jaecoo 7 models continued to top the sales charts for the brand. The Jaecoo 5 recorded 26,785 sales in June, while the Jaecoo 7 achieved 20,890 sales, with both models exceeding the 20,000-unit mark in a single month, underscoring their strong popularity across multiple markets.
Smart Driving Technologies and Hybrid System
Alongside sales growth, OMODA and JAECOO are expanding the application of smart driving technologies, including the SIVP intelligent parking system currently undergoing field tests in several global markets. The company is also leveraging the SHS hybrid powertrain, which combines high performance, low fuel consumption, and extended driving range, to support the broader global rollout of its vehicles.
