Substantial Investment in Local Manufacturing
The Japanese automaker has invested approximately $45 million (around EGP 2.34 billion) to upgrade its passenger car assembly lines in preparation for the local production of this model, according to the State Information Service.
These investments come under a memorandum of understanding signed between Nissan and the Egyptian government on December 4, 2024, aimed at advancing the localization of the automotive industry in the Egyptian market.
