Nissan Opens Full-Service Facility at Gesr El Suez, Expands Egypt Footprint After Magnite Launch
Nissan Egypt has opened a new integrated facility in Gesr El Suez, Cairo, in partnership with dealer Wahdan Auto. The branch spans 1,360 square meters and includes a showroom, service center, and spare parts warehouse. This follows the local production launch of the Nissan Magnite last month. The company reaffirmed Egypt's role as a key regional hub for its African operations.
Nissan Egypt has officially opened a new integrated facility in the Gesr El Suez area of Cairo, developed in partnership with its authorized dealer Wahdan Auto. The move comes just weeks after the first locally-built Nissan Magnite rolled off the production line at the company's Egyptian plant.
A 1,360-Square-Meter Facility
The new branch spans a total area of 1,360 square meters, featuring a showroom capable of displaying 3 cars. The real highlight, though, is the fully-equipped service center and the dedicated warehouse for genuine spare parts.
It's designed to serve customers in New Nozha, Heliopolis, and the surrounding districts. Sales, maintenance, after-sales support, and spare parts are all available under one roof — a move that cuts waiting times and brings the brand closer to its users.
Magnite Leads Local Production Push
Eng. Mohamed Abdel Samad, Managing Director of Nissan Africa, confirmed that the Egyptian market remains a cornerstone and a vital regional hub for the Japanese brand's operations across the continent. The company has held the top spot in Egypt's passenger car segment for the past three years, he added.
The Magnite officially launched locally last month, marking its entry as the newest addition to Nissan's Egypt lineup. Local assembly underscores the company's commitment to boosting domestic manufacturing and strengthening Egypt's role as a regional export hub.
Sustained Expansion Through Partnerships
Abdel Samad emphasized that continuous expansion and partnerships with authorized distributors like Wahdan Auto are aimed at bringing Nissan closer to its customers. The goal is a complete, reliable experience that meets global standards.
The facility has been fully renovated and updated to reflect the latest global identity of the Nissan brand. Great Cairo remains a critical battleground for compact SUVs, and the Magnite arrives in this segment at a pivotal moment.
