Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly witnessed today, at the government headquarters in the New Administrative Capital, the signing of a strategic partnership agreement between El Nasr Automotive Manufacturing Company and China's FAW Car Group. The deal aims to manufacture a range of vehicles under the historic 'Nasr' brand, with Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs Dr. Hussein Issa in attendance.

The agreement was signed by Engineer Mohamed El-Saadawi, Chairman and Managing Director of the Metallurgical Industries Holding Company; Dr. Nabil Mohamed Hammad, Managing Director of El Nasr Automotive Company; Liu Zongqing, Chairman of FAW Car Group; and Yang Shao Fu, Head of International Operations at FAW Car Group.

On the sidelines of the signing, Engineer Mohamed El-Saadawi stated that this strategic partnership is the culmination of extensive discussions and coordination between both sides in recent months. He emphasized that it reflects mutual trust and a shared desire to build long-term cooperation that will transfer modern technology, increase local component ratios, and support the state's efforts to revive the national automotive industry while boosting its competitiveness in local and regional markets.

Dr. Nabil Mohamed Hammad explained that the agreement is expected to support the company's plans to deliver high-quality products under the 'Nasr' name, adhering to the latest global standards. This will meet the needs of the Egyptian market and open new horizons for expansion and export to regional and international markets. He added that the partnership represents a successful model of collaboration between national companies and leading industrial institutions, embodying both sides' commitment to achieving industrial development goals and strengthening Egypt's position as a regional hub for automotive manufacturing.

Officials from both companies expressed their appreciation for the continuous support provided by the Egyptian government to the industrial sector. They affirmed that this partnership marks a qualitative step toward building an advanced national automotive industry based on modern technology and the highest standards of quality and efficiency, adding value to the Egyptian economy and supporting sustainable development.
