Mansour Automotive and General Motors Egypt Join 2026 Commercial Transport Expo, Debut Chevrolet S10 Max

Mansour Automotive Group, the exclusive distributor of Chevrolet in Egypt, along with General Motors Egypt, has announced its participation in the 2026 Al-Ahram Commercial Transport Exhibition. The event is scheduled to take place from June 18 to 20 at the Cairo International Conference Center in Nasr City.

The exhibition was inaugurated by Engineer Khaled Hashem, Minister of Industry, and Dr. Mohamed Farid, Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade. During the event, Chevrolet will showcase a diverse range of commercial transport vehicles designed to meet the needs of various economic sectors. This aligns with the company's ongoing commitment to delivering reliable and practical mobility solutions that support business growth and keep pace with the demands of the Egyptian market.

The display will include the Chevrolet Dababa and the full Chevrolet Jumbo family, featuring locally manufactured QMR, NPR, and NQR models. Additionally, the Chevrolet S10 Max will make its first public appearance at the exhibition, underscoring the company's dedication to expanding its product portfolio and offering versatile options tailored to local market requirements.

Notably, Chevrolet has secured a leading position in Egypt's commercial vehicle market, reinforcing its presence through a steady lineup of trustworthy and diverse products that support various economic activities.

On the sidelines of the exhibition, Ankush Arora, CEO of Mansour Automotive Group, and Sharon Nishi, Chairman and Managing Director of General Motors Egypt and Africa, will take part in the opening panel discussion titled: 'How to Implement Egypt's State Plan for Vehicle Manufacturing to Achieve Development and Key Challenges and Obstacles.' The session will bring together top leaders and experts from Egypt's automotive industry, including Engineer Mohamed Abdel Samad, Managing Director of Nissan Africa; Nashaat Abu Hatta, Chairman of General Egypt (distributor of Chineray commercial vehicles) and Head of the Automotive Division at the Afro-Asian General Union; and Engineer Mohamed Hussein, Executive Managing Director of the Springs and Transport Equipment Manufacturing Company. The discussion will explore the future of Egypt's automotive industry, the role of local manufacturing and components in supporting the national economy, as well as sector opportunities and challenges.
