Khaled Shadeed Joins Watanya as Mercedes-Benz Director After Reviving Al-Nasr
In one of the most notable executive moves in the Egyptian automotive sector this year, Dr. Khaled Shadeed, former CEO and Managing Director of Al-Nasr Automotive Company, has joined Watanya Automotive to take over as Director of the Mercedes-Benz brand in Egypt.
A Track Record of Achievement
Shadeed's move comes after a period during which he led the revival of Al-Nasr Automotive Company, overseeing the restart and modernization of its factories and the restoration of its production operations. He also spearheaded the launch of several new projects and entered into strategic partnerships to manufacture models for global brands within Egypt.
Decades of Industry Experience
With extensive experience in the automotive industry, Shadeed has been closely associated in recent years with the revival of Al-Nasr, supervising infrastructure and production line development plans, and expanding local manufacturing projects. He also led negotiations with numerous international companies to boost local production.
Boosting Mercedes-Benz Presence in Egypt
Shadeed's deep expertise in management, manufacturing, and strategic marketing is expected to support Watanya Automotive's plans to strengthen the presence of the Mercedes-Benz brand in the Egyptian market, particularly amid growing competition in the luxury car segment and the expansion of offering the latest models and services to customers.
