Kayan Egypt, the exclusive distributor for Cupra and Seat in Egypt, has announced an ambitious plan to sell 20,000 Cupra vehicles cumulatively and inject EGP 500 million in investments over the next two years. The announcement came from Chairman Karim Naggar during the launch event of the fully electric Cupra Tavascan.
Cupra Tavascan EV Opens a New Chapter in Egypt
The new model isn't just another addition to the Cupra lineup. Tavascan represents a bet on the future of electric mobility in Egypt, blending bold design, sporty performance, and modern technology — a clear reflection of the Spanish brand's philosophy that puts innovation and driving pleasure at the heart of the experience.
EGP 500 Million to Boost Infrastructure and After-Sales Services
The numbers speak for themselves. The investment plan includes expanding to five specialized facilities dedicated to sales and after-sales services, aiming to enhance service efficiency and the overall customer experience. This expansion goes hand in hand with strengthening the partnership with the Volkswagen Group and its strategic partners in China.
The brand's success so far is just a starting point. Karim Naggar stressed that achieving these targets requires continued work, investment in the specialized center network, and maintaining customer trust — the real foundation for sustainable success.
In closing, Naggar thanked the company's partners at Seat for their ongoing trust, as well as the work teams and dealer network. He also welcomed Sven Schuwirth, Executive Vice President for Sales, Marketing, and After-Sales at Seat Spain, to deliver his remarks during the launch event.
