Kaiyi Surpasses 2,000 Registered Cars in Egypt, Gears Up for Locally Assembled X3 PRO
Chinese automotive brand Kaiyi has achieved remarkable growth in the Egyptian market during the first half of 2026, with registered sales exceeding 2,000 vehicles. This milestone comes less than a year after the brand's official launch in Egypt, reflecting strong consumer reception and growing market confidence. Global Kaiyi Auto has identified Egypt as one of its fastest-growing markets in the region, supporting the brand's expansion plans and increasing reliance on local manufacturing.
Record Sales in Six Months
The company confirmed that total registered Kaiyi vehicles in Egypt surpassed 2,000 units during the first half of 2026, bringing cumulative sales to approximately 3,900 cars by the end of June. This rapid growth was achieved in collaboration with Kaiyi Motors Egypt, the entity responsible for importing and manufacturing the brand's vehicles locally. The company continues to expand its after-sales service and maintenance network to support the rising demand.
Local Manufacturing Expansion and New Models
Kaiyi has unveiled ambitious plans to increase reliance on local manufacturing in the coming period, alongside preparations to launch several new models. The most anticipated among them is the locally assembled version of the Kaiyi X3 PRO, expected to be introduced before the end of this year. This move underscores the brand's commitment to deepening its industrial footprint in Egypt.
Egypt as a Promising Market
The company highlighted Egypt as one of the most promising markets for automotive industry growth, citing the expansion of local production, well-developed infrastructure, and trade agreements that open export opportunities to several regional and international markets. This strategic positioning enhances the value of investing in local manufacturing within Egypt.
This expansion comes at a time when the Egyptian market is witnessing increasing demand for locally assembled cars, aligning perfectly with Kaiyi's strategy to strengthen its presence through competitive models offering attractive prices and high build quality. With the locally assembled X3 PRO on the horizon, the market eagerly anticipates the brand's next moves in Egypt.
