JMCG Reaffirms Support for Egyptian Market: Plans to Expand Production and Launch New Models
Transport Distribution Company, the local distributor of the JMC brand in the Egyptian market, hosted Qiu Tianguo, Chairman of the Board of Directors of JMCG Group, along with a high-level delegation. The visit aims to strengthen strategic cooperation between both parties and support expansion plans in the Egyptian market in the coming period.
Strategic Partnership and Local Manufacturing Discussions
The meetings covered several key topics, primarily local manufacturing, expanding the product portfolio, and reviewing the plan to launch the all-new Vigus pickup truck generation. Mustafa Abdel Halim, Chairman and Managing Director of Transport Distribution Company, confirmed that the partnership with JMCG Group has yielded positive results over the past years, in terms of brand building, sales growth, local manufacturing expansion, and increasing market share.
Chinese Support for Quality and Growth
Abdel Halim noted that the Chinese partner has been supportive throughout various development stages, expressing hope for continued collaboration to keep pace with the evolving Egyptian automotive market. Tianguo praised the company's achievements in Egypt, reaffirming JMCG Group's commitment to providing full support to the local partner, especially in quality and product development, as key competitive factors in the automotive sector.
Overcoming Challenges and Boosting Local Production
Tianguo emphasized that the group will continue supporting expansion plans in Egypt and work to remove any obstacles facing the brand. Local manufacturing was a major focus of the discussions, with both sides addressing challenges related to production processes and supply chains amid global economic and political changes affecting logistics and procurement. The two parties also explored ways to enhance cooperation in this area to ensure production continuity and achieve higher levels of quality and efficiency.
