JMCG Delegation Visit to Egypt Opens New Horizons for TVD Partnership in Local Manufacturing
Transportation Vehicle Distribution Company (TVD) welcomed Qiu Tiangang, Chairman of the Board of JMCG Group, along with a high-level delegation, in a move both sides described as a qualitative leap in their partnership. The visit focused on three main pillars: local manufacturing, expanding the product portfolio in the Egyptian market to meet growing and diverse customer needs, and introducing the new third-generation Vigus pickup trucks, which both parties have high hopes for.
Partnership Achievements and Market Expansion
Both sides reviewed achievements made over the past years in brand building, sales, manufacturing, and market share in the local market. Qiu Tiangang praised the accomplishments and efforts made in the Egyptian market to build the brand and manufacturing capabilities, emphasizing full support from the Chinese side in quality areas, which are essential in this industry and market.
Local Manufacturing and Supply Chain Challenges
The visit also addressed local manufacturing and challenges facing production and supply operations due to the political and economic conditions in the region, and how this impacts supply chains and logistics services. Mustafa Abdel Halim, Chairman and Managing Director of TVD, expressed his happiness with the visit, confirming that the Chinese partner has been supportive at all stages, and expressed hope for continued support in the coming days.
New Products and New Energy Vehicles
Regarding products, Abdel Halim confirmed that all models introduced have achieved a strong presence in the Egyptian market and competed significantly, whether in the pickup segment or medium and light trucks like the Carrying Plus, which offers various load capacities to suit all needs. He added that the company is considering introducing new energy vehicles, which have become increasingly important for the Egyptian market, and expects demand to rise in the coming period, with the EV Touring already introduced, offering excellent solutions for customers in this category.
Chinese Commitment to Strengthening Brand Position
Qiu Tiangang expressed his pleasure with the Egyptian partner's efforts to keep pace with developments and promised to remove any obstacles to maintain the brand's position in the Egyptian market. In this context, both sides discussed expanding the product portfolio and taking all necessary measures to continue the success journey and brand building.
