Chinese automotive brand Jetour has achieved remarkable growth in the number of registered vehicles in the Egyptian market during the first half of 2026, recording an 85% increase compared to the same period last year. According to a report by the Egyptian Motor Insurance Compulsory Pool, Jetour registered approximately 7,460 vehicles, up from 4,026 units in H1 2025.

Factors Behind the Growth and Performance Improvement

This significant rise reflects Jetour's continued performance improvement in the Egyptian market, driven by increased demand for its diverse lineup. The expansion of distribution networks and service centers has also enhanced customer confidence, alongside growing trust in the brand's offerings in recent months. Jetour's registrations showed variation across the months of H1 2026, with March recording the highest number of registrations at 1,513 vehicles, followed by May with 1,503 units, while June saw 1,198 registered vehicles.

Monthly Registration Details

Data from the Egyptian Motor Insurance Compulsory Pool revealed clear monthly fluctuations for Jetour during H1 2026. While March topped the list with the highest registration numbers, May came in second with approximately 1,503 vehicles, and June recorded 1,198 registered cars, indicating sustained strong demand for the brand's models.

Statements from Distribution Officials

Walid Khader, Director of Agency Management at Sultan Auto, explained that the growth in Jetour registrations resulted from several factors, most notably the diversity of models offered to meet different customer segments. He noted that the vehicle lineup includes models such as the T1, T2, Dashing, X70, X90, and the locally assembled X70 Plus. He highlighted that the X70 Plus model quickly captured customer interest due to its modern design, high equipment levels, advanced safety systems, and competitive pricing compared to rivals in the same segment, making it a key contributor to the brand's spread in the local market.

Role of After-Sales Services

Khader emphasized that Jetour's success relied not only on vehicle quality but also on developing the after-sales and maintenance ecosystem. The company expanded its service centers and authorized maintenance points across various governorates, helping improve customer experience and loyalty. This significant growth underscores Jetour's strategy to strengthen its presence in the Egyptian market, as it continues to expand its distribution and service networks to meet rising demand for its models.
