Jetour Expands Presence in Egypt with New Showroom and Preparations for T1 and T2 Assembly
El Kasrawy Group has opened a new Jetour showroom in 6th of October City, reinforcing the brand’s presence in the Egyptian automotive market. The company also announced the continuation of Jetour’s role as the official vehicle of Al Ahly Club for the next four years. The opening ceremony was attended by Jetour Global President Kei Chuanding and the company’s Vice President.
Strengthening Jetour’s Position in Egypt
Mohamed El Kasrawy, Chairman of El Kasrawy Group and Jetour’s distributor in Egypt, stated that the brand offers a global product that combines quality, technology, and attractive design. He noted that the company has successfully established a strong presence in the Egyptian automotive sector within a short period and has secured a significant share of buyers.
Major Investments in Retail Network and Local Manufacturing
El Kasrawy explained that the new facility in 6th of October City, one of Greater Cairo’s key locations, represents more than just a showroom and stands as a major investment. He added that substantial investments have been made in showrooms, service centers, and maintenance facilities, while the company has also entered the local manufacturing sector through the production of the Jetour X70 Plus, supporting local industry and increasing added value within the Egyptian market.
More Locally Produced Models Planned
According to El Kasrawy, the company’s plans extend beyond its current achievements, with preparations underway to increase the number of models produced locally in Egypt and raise the level of local content in vehicle manufacturing. The strategy also includes expanding production lines and introducing new locally assembled models tailored to the needs of the Egyptian market. He emphasized that Jetour remains fully committed to the Egyptian market with its complete product lineup and an ambitious local expansion strategy. Future assembly plans in Egypt could potentially include the Jetour T1 and Jetour T2.
