Engineer Khaled Hashem, Minister of Industry, stated that the government is offering strong and unprecedented incentives to encourage both international and local companies to localize supplier industries in Egypt, particularly those linked to the automotive sector. He noted that these incentives are designed to support manufacturing expansion and attract new investments to the Egyptian market.

The minister emphasized that the government aims to deepen local industrial production and increase the share of Egyptian-made components across various industries, strengthening the competitiveness of domestic manufacturing.

He added that the coming period will bring significant support for local manufacturers, alongside stronger supply chains, helping to establish an integrated industrial ecosystem capable of competing regionally and internationally.

Hashem also explained that Egypt is working to position itself as a regional industrial hub by attracting investment, providing a stable business environment, and streamlining procedures for investors, ensuring strong economic returns and sustainable industrial growth.
