Geely Emgrand Recall Campaign in Egypt Over Fuel Tank Issue
Geely's official distributor in Egypt, Automobility, has launched a recall campaign for the locally assembled Emgrand model, in coordination with the Consumer Protection Agency. The campaign addresses a potential defect in the fuel tank ventilation canister, covering model years 2025 and 2026.
Details of the Geely Emgrand Issue
The company stated that the recall is part of its preventive measures to ensure the highest safety and quality standards. The issue involves inspecting the fuel tank ventilation canister in affected vehicles, although the exact number of units involved has not been disclosed.
How to Benefit from the Recall Campaign
Automobility confirmed that the inspection aims to maintain vehicle safety and performance efficiency. It urged Geely Emgrand owners whose cars may be affected by this defect to contact the company to schedule an inspection and maintenance appointment, or to visit its premises directly. The company added that it will carry out the necessary procedures and modifications to fix the issue according to its established policies.
