Recall Campaign for Geely Emgrand 2025 and 2026 Models in Egypt: Full Details

Geely Automobility, the official distributor of the Chinese Geely brand in Egypt, has announced a recall campaign for a number of Emgrand family sedans from the 2025 and 2026 model years in the local market.

In a statement, the local distributor confirmed that, in cooperation with the Consumer Protection Agency, a campaign has been launched to inspect the fuel tank ventilation canister. This aims to maintain vehicle efficiency and improve engine performance, with replacement of the affected part as needed, following the manufacturer's instructions and procedures.

The company added that owners of Geely Emgrand 2025 and 2026 models can verify whether their vehicles are included in the recall by contacting the company's hotline or visiting the nearest authorized service center for a free inspection.

Geely Emgrand Prices in Egypt

The new Geely Emgrand, assembled at the company's factory in Egypt, is available at prices starting from EGP 839,000 for the standard Comfort trim, while the higher-spec Luxury trim is priced at EGP 939,000.

Geely Emgrand Engine Specifications

The locally assembled Geely Emgrand is powered by an engine producing 122 hp and 180 Nm of torque, with a fuel consumption rate of 5.82 liters per 100 km. The engine is paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission, enabling acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 11.96 seconds, and the fuel tank capacity is 50 liters.

The new Geely sedan measures 4,638 mm in length, 1,822 mm in width, and 1,460 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,650 mm, providing comfortable space for passengers.
