Geely Egypt Factory Hosts Chinese Press Delegation on 70th Anniversary of Diplomatic Ties

Automobility, the official dealer and exclusive manufacturer of Geely cars in Egypt, welcomed a delegation of Chinese press and media representatives at the Bavarian Auto Manufacturing Company (BAMIC) plant in 6th of October City. The visit aimed to showcase the local assembly and manufacturing experience of Geely vehicles, while reviewing production developments and the company's expansion plans. This factory now stands as a cornerstone of Egypt's automotive localization strategy.

A Visit Marking a Historic Diplomatic Milestone

Seventy years have passed since Egypt and China established diplomatic relations, a milestone that coincided with this significant visit. Relations began on May 30, 1956, making Egypt the first Arab and African nation to establish diplomatic ties with China. Over the decades, these relations evolved into a comprehensive strategic partnership covering trade, investment, manufacturing, energy.
