The company made it clear that such practices could void the warranty on affected components. This is a direct message to anyone considering unauthorized modifications to their vehicles.

Official Statement on Unauthorized Modifications

Jameel Motors, the exclusive local distributor for the Chinese GAC brand in Egypt, emphasized in a notice to customers the critical importance of adhering to the operating and maintenance instructions found in the warranty booklet. The distributor warned that making any changes to the vehicle's systems, software, or core components, or performing technical work outside the manufacturer's approved specifications, could significantly impact vehicle performance and overall safety.

The company further explained that such unauthorized modifications could result in the affected parts being excluded from warranty coverage. What's more, the warning extends to following recommendations from unapproved entities or groups. Using unapproved materials or spare parts can directly damage the vehicle. Owners may lose the remaining warranty period for the affected parts. The message is clear: check with the distributor first.

Jameel Motors urged all GAC customers to contact them before making any modification or addition, or before using any unapproved materials or spare parts. This step ensures compatibility with the vehicle's technical specifications and protects the owner's warranty status. Jameel Motors currently offers three 2027 model-year vehicles from GAC in the Egyptian market, spanning sedan, crossover, and sports SUV segments. The GAC Empow stands as the only sedan in the Chinese brand's local lineup, available in three distinct trim levels for the 2027 model year.

Official pricing for the GAC Empow starts at EGP 1,075,000 for the Elegance trim, while the Premium trim is priced at EGP 1,189,000. The top-of-the-line S-Style trim is available for EGP 1,295,000. These three options offer customers a range of choices depending on their needs and budget, while maintaining the same level of technology and dynamic performance that characterizes this competitive sports sedan in its segment.
