Egyptian EVRAID Exports EV Software and Manufactures Batteries Locally

Egyptian startup EVRAID has unveiled ambitious plans to localize electric vehicle technology in the domestic market, during a recent meeting between company founder and team with Mohamed Farid Saleh, Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade. The minister listened to the company's experience in this field and discussed ways to support their efforts in localizing EV technology, aligning with the Egyptian government's vision to deepen industrialization and boost exports.

Localizing Electric Drive Systems and Battery Manufacturing

During the meeting, the company presented its plans to localize electric drive system technology, battery management systems, and batteries specifically designed for low-voltage electric vehicles. The discussion also covered potential collaboration opportunities with electric vehicle manufacturers operating in the Egyptian market, with the goal of increasing the local content ratio in this rapidly growing industry at both domestic and global levels.

Exporting Software and Engineering Solutions Worldwide

EVRAID's activities extend beyond manufacturing to include the development of specialized software and engineering solutions for the electric vehicle sector. The company has already succeeded in exporting software services and advanced technologies to several global automotive companies. It also plans to expand battery production and assembly operations, along with related control systems, within Egypt, strengthening its position as a key player in this field.

Sherif Diab, CEO and Managing Director of EVRAID, stated that the company possesses qualified Egyptian talent and the necessary expertise to localize low-voltage electric vehicle battery technology and its management systems. He confirmed that his company exports advanced technologies for electric vehicle manufacturing to major global companies. Diab expressed his aspiration to expand the localization of these technologies across Egypt, supporting both the company's growth plans and contributing to deepening the local manufacturing sector.
