Chevrolet topped the list of the most licensed commercial vehicle brands in the Egyptian market during June, recording 2,396 vehicles, according to the latest report from the Egyptian Motor Insurance Compulsory Pool. The figure highlights sustained demand for commercial transport vehicles amid growing activity in the logistics and transportation sectors locally.

Competing Brands at a Glance

Toyota maintained its second-place position with 146 licensed vehicles during the same month. Despite the significant gap with Chevrolet, Toyota continues to demonstrate a strong presence in this segment, thanks to its practical models that enjoy wide acceptance among commercial users.

In third place, Mercedes recorded 103 vehicles, benefiting from continued demand for its trucks and commercial vehicles across several industrial and service sectors. These figures confirm that the German brand still retains a loyal customer base in the transport market despite intense competition.

Mitsubishi and Nissan Follow Suit

Mitsubishi ranked fourth with 93 vehicles, while Nissan came in fifth with a total of 59 licensed vehicles during June. These numbers show that the Egyptian commercial vehicle market is still witnessing clear competition between Asian and European brands, although Chevrolet's dominance remains evident with a large margin over its rivals.

Data from the Egyptian Motor Insurance Compulsory Pool reflects the continued dominance of Chevrolet in Egypt's commercial vehicle market, with a significant lead over its nearest competitors, amid growing demand for commercial vehicles used in transport and logistics activities. This trend is expected to continue in the coming months as the local market's need for light and heavy transport vehicles increases.
