Car Manufacturing Robots and Stale Spare Parts in General Intelligence Auction
The Egyptian General Intelligence Service has announced a new public auction for the sale of various items through a limited bidding process. The auction session is scheduled to take place on Saturday, July 4, 2026, at 10:00 AM, at the agency's headquarters located on Kobri El-Qobba, adjacent to the El-Nokrashy Secondary School. The participation security deposit is set at 50,000 Egyptian pounds, which is a mandatory requirement for attending the session.
Key Items in the Auction
The list of items on offer includes several high-value equipment and vehicles, most notably two large industrial robots used in car manufacturing and assembly. The auction also features a wide range of new and stale spare parts, covering models from major brands such as Toyota, Renault, and Peugeot, in addition to buses. The presence of these industrial robots presents a rare opportunity for manufacturing companies, as they are primarily used in assembly lines to enhance production efficiency.
Additional Equipment and Accessories
Beyond vehicles and spare parts, the auction includes a diverse assortment of other equipment and accessories. Among them are tires in various sizes, car rims, tools, and industrial machinery. The list also features used car spare parts, a large drill, three central air conditioning units of models Dx145 and Dx250, as well as car batteries. These items cater to the needs of repair workshops, transportation companies, and logistics service providers alike.
Auction Participation Conditions
The auction terms require prior inspection of the items, as inspection is considered the basis of the sale, and no objections can be raised after purchase. Additionally, interested bidders must pay the participation security deposit at the General Authority for Government Services, located in the Ministry of Finance Towers on Imtidad Ramses Street, Building No. 2, first floor. No deposits will be accepted on the day of the auction session itself, so applicants are advised to adhere to the specified deadline for submitting deposits.
