BYD has opened its first technology center in Heliopolis, northern Cairo. The move comes in partnership with its authorized distributor Xtreme Automotive and through its official agent ManDream, marking another step in the Chinese brand's aggressive push into the Egyptian automotive market. This new facility is designed to be more than just a showroom.

The center aims to provide customers with a comprehensive experience of the BYD lineup. Visitors can now explore the brand's latest models and inspect the new-energy vehicle technologies up close — all in one dedicated location. The idea is to strengthen direct engagement with clients and shift the focus from brochures to real-world interaction.

Leadership Turnout Marks the Opening

The inauguration ceremony saw a host of senior executives from both companies. Khaled Youssef, CEO of BYD Egypt, attended alongside Mohamed Fakoury, Sales and Marketing Director. Sherif Fahim, Head of Marketing. Engineer Mohamed Adel, Manager of Sales Network Excellence, and Mohamed Noh, Commercial Sales Manager, were also present.

Xtreme Automotive's top brass was out in force too. Yassin El Sayad, Chairman of El Sayad Group, Khaled El Sayad, Vice Chairman. Ragy Hassan, Board Chairman, all attended the ceremony. The heavy administrative presence signals the strategic importance both parties place on this launch.
