BYD Opens First Integrated Center in Alexandria for Sales, Service, and Spare Parts

BYD has opened its first integrated center in Alexandria through its official agent ManDream, combining vehicle sales, service, spare parts, and after-sales support under one roof. The move marks the brand's first full-service facility outside Greater Cairo.

Why Alexandria, and why now?

Alexandria is a major market. It ranks among the largest automotive markets outside the capital and serves the entire northern Egypt region. The new center lets BYD customers in the area complete purchases and access maintenance without driving to Cairo — a fundamental shift in ownership experience.

BYD's growing network in Egypt

The brand's network currently includes locations in Heliopolis, Mall of Arabia, City Stars, Sheikh Zayed. Park St in New Cairo. The Alexandria center adds a new dimension as the first integrated site in the governorate. Does this network fully cover the Egyptian market? The answer depends on how fast expansion continues in the coming months.

The opening was attended by Ankush Arora, CEO of Mansour Automotive Group; Khaled Youssef, CEO of BYD Egypt; and Khaled Darwish, Managing Director of BYD North Africa, along with other BYD and ManDream executives. Their presence signals the strategic weight behind this expansion.

Accelerating Chinese expansion in Egypt

Egypt's market is seeing a clear rise in Chinese brands. BYD pricing and electric technology have become major draw factors. Competition is heating up with brands like Chery and MG pushing electric and hybrid models. Automakers now treat service network expansion as a necessity, not a luxury.

The Alexandria center reflects a broader strategy: reaching customers in governorates and providing technical support nearby. As BYD sales continue to grow in Egypt, the next step will likely be network expansion into Delta and Canal governorates. The battle for after-sales service has begun.
