The US dollar maintained relative stability against the Egyptian pound during midday trading across major banks, as market participants continued to monitor the foreign exchange market for any potential movement in the American currency. The exchange rate remains a closely watched indicator for individuals, businesses, and several economic sectors, including the automotive industry, where currency fluctuations can influence import costs and vehicle pricing.

Dollar Exchange Rates at Major Banks

At the National Bank of Egypt, the US dollar was recorded at EGP 50.82 for buying and EGP 50.92 for selling. Banque Misr listed the currency at EGP 50.75 for buying and EGP 50.85 for selling, reflecting limited movement during the middle of the trading session.

Limited Variations Across Banks

Banque du Caire posted the US dollar at EGP 50.85 for buying and EGP 50.95 for selling. Meanwhile, Bank of Alexandria recorded EGP 50.90 for buying and EGP 51.00 for selling. The Commercial International Bank (CIB) reported the same levels, with the dollar trading at EGP 50.90 for buying and EGP 51.00 for selling.

These figures indicate that the US dollar continued to trade within a relatively stable range across the banking sector, with only minor differences between institutions. Market participants remain focused on monitoring any upcoming changes in the foreign exchange market that could affect future exchange rate movements, while banking operations continue under normal trading conditions.
