Technical and Technological Education: A Gateway to Future Jobs with Specialized Automotive Schools
The Cabinet's Media Center confirmed that technical and technological education has become one of the most critical pathways for preparing qualified personnel for the labor market. Recent years have witnessed a significant expansion in establishing applied technology schools, which include diverse specializations such as technical automotive schools, alongside technological universities, enhancing youth qualification with practical skills that meet future needs.
The State's Vision for Educational Development
The Cabinet's Media Center published a video across its official social media platforms, showcasing the state's vision for developing the technical and technological education system. This system serves as a fundamental pillar for preparing generations equipped with the skills and expertise necessary to support comprehensive development plans and keep pace with rapid changes in the local and international job market.
The future no longer relies solely on traditional educational paths. Instead, it now centers on skill, knowledge. Practical application, which is reflected in the remarkable development the technical and technological education system has witnessed in recent years. The state has worked to build a modern educational system based on the latest global standards, through expanding applied technology schools in partnership with the private sector, alongside the growth of technological universities, contributing to graduates who possess the required technical and applied skills across various sectors.
Record Numbers in Applied Technology Schools
The number of applied technology schools has reached 225, set to launch during the upcoming academic year. Among them are schools like "WE, Ezz Steel, Electro Egypt, and El Sewedy," where the study system combines academic curricula with practical training through partnerships with major industrial and production institutions, ensuring the graduation of qualified personnel according to the latest global standards.
The efforts also highlighted the establishment of specialized schools serving national projects, including the Advanced Technical School for Applied Technology for Nuclear Energy, and the Benban Renewable Solar Energy School. Three centers of excellence were also established in Cairo and Qalyubia, targeting the connection between education and future skills.
In the field of technological education, the video clarified that the state has opened 14 technological universities, in addition to establishing 39 university career development centers. This integrated educational pathway allows students to continue their studies and acquire the experiences and skills the labor market strongly demands.
