Egypt's Vehicle and Auto Parts Imports Decline 24.4% in April
Egypt's imports of vehicles and automotive components recorded a noticeable decline during April, according to foreign trade data released by the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics. The figures showed that total imports of vehicles and their components reached approximately $281.5 million, compared with about $370.6 million during the same month last year, representing a year-on-year decline of 24.4%.

The official foreign trade data indicated that the difference between the value of imports in April this year and the corresponding month of the previous year amounted to approximately $90.1 million. The figures reflect a reduction in overall spending on imported vehicles and automotive components during the comparison period, based on the official statistics.
